A new video for the forthcoming Jean-Michel Jarre album, with Oxygene 17, ahead of the release of his Oxygene 3 album.The new album features Oxygene parts 14-20 and is Jarre's second album release this year, following his Elecronica 2 The Heart of Noise collaborations album.
Jarre describes Oxygene 3 as the third and final part of a trilogy begun with the 1976 collection that went on to sell over 15 million copies.
Jarre said the idea for a new album came to him when he was recording Electronica, and a piece of music which became Oxygene 19 made him think about what Oxygene would be like if it was composed today.
The release also coincides with the 40th anniversary of the original Oxygene album.
Jarre's been touring extensively, and each night has been playing a track from the new Oxygene album as part of his set
The album is released next week and it comes in a variety of formats, including a box set with the two previous albums in the set.
