A track by Emmanuelle Seigner, who although an artist initially best known as an actress has pursued a
career in music for several years.
Emmanuelle Seigner became known as an actress with her role in the 1988 Harrison Ford film Frantic, a Paris-based thriller directed by Roman Polanski. She went on to star in his 1992 film Bitter Moon and in his 1999 film The Ninth Gate alongside Johnny Depp.
Other films she's featured in include The Diving Bell and the Butterfly and Place Vendome.
Seigner is also known for being Polanski's partner, whom she married in 1989.
Her music career saw her move from an appearance in a Death in Vegas video - for the track Hands Around my Throat, to performing songs on the soundtrack of the film Backstage in 2005.
She released her debut album proper Don't Kiss Me Goodbye in 2006, and her second album Dingue was released in 2010.
The track Distant Lover comes from the album of the same name, which is released in France on March 31.
