Another strong edition of the French music program Acoustic at the weekend, this week featuring Owlle.The show is broadcast weekly on the TV5 Monde channel.
I first came across Owlle ahead of their show in the UK at the Great Escape festival in Brighton this time last year, and it's been great to see her gain some much- deserved recognition in the 12 months since.
Her first release was the EP Ticky Ticky at the end of 2012, and her debut album France was released in January this year, with the song Don't Lose It emerging as a clip shortly after.
The session on Acoustic features Fog, Ticky Ticky, Free, Don't lose It, Silence as well as a brief interview.
The low key arrangements of the songs in the session make for some great listening.
