David Guetta at T in the Park

David Guetta takes to the stage of T in the Park Festival, flying the flag for French acts at the biggest music event in Scotland.

He headlines the BBC Three/Radio One stage tonight.  Also on the bill at that stage are The War on Drugs and Afrojack.

Kasabian is on the main stage at the same time, Mark Ronson DJing at  the King Tut's Tent.

It's not the first time Guetta's played at T, he headlined the Radio 1 Stage on the Sunday night in 2013, and headlined the Radio 1/NME stage on the Saturday night in 2012.

It's the first time thetr T has been held at its new venue, Strathallan Castle in Perthshire.

A look ahead to this weekend's T in the Park festival, which sees David Guetta take to the stage at Scotland's biggest music festival.

Guetta plays on the Saturday night, and while not headlining - that's left The Stone Roses and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, he's still pretty high on the bill.

Significantly, two of his collaborators are also on the bill, Jessie J who sang the song LaserLight, featured on the special edition of her debut album Who You Are, giving her a top five hit in the UK.

The song came about after Jessie J sang on the Guetta track Repeat, included on his 2011-released Nothing but the Beat album.

Meanwhile, Scottish singer Emile Sandé is also on the bill at T in the Park on Saturday, and she too has appeared with Guetta, performing Titanium with him at the NRJ Music Awards in February this year.

The song featured Sia on the album, but the opportunity for Guetta to perform with one of Scotland's biggest stars in front of a home crowd would seem an opportunity that would be hard for him to resist.

With Emeli Sandé wining the Critics' Choice Brit Award earlier this week even before her debut album has been released, and confirmation that she is to play this year's T in the Park festival in Scotland, I thought it worth showing a clip of her with David Guetta, as they performed together at the NRJ Music awards.

Guetta has also been confirmed as playing at Scotland's biggest music event.

While headline acts include Snow Patrol, Kasabian and The Stone Roses, I reckon more people will be buying tickets on account of Guetta being on the bill.

This performance would have introduced Emeli Sandé to a huge French audience, Guetta having been nominated for two awards this year and being given the NRJ Award of Honour at the 2011 ceremony.

I spoke last month about how I love this track, probbaly my favourite on the Nothing But The Beat album, and certainly Sia's vocals add to this. The song had been earlier linked to Katy Perry and Mary J Blige, and it's great to hear this alternative take of it with one of Scotland's most

With Guetta and Sandé both playing T in the Park on the Saturday, I suppose a reprise of this performance may not be out of the question.
