A really nice new Deezer session by Christine and The Queens, with a track or two from their Chaleur Humaine debut album, released earlier this week.The album is probably going to be one of this year's most significant releases, she's gone from a little-known but recommended act to a widely recognised artist in the space of just over a year, with a nomination for best breakthrough artist at this year's Victoires de la Musique awards along the way.
I suspect over the next 12 months we'lls ee Christine and the Queens gather even more recognition on the back of the album.
She's got a number of live dates in the near future, including a show at the Gaîté Lyrique in Paris on June 18 and festival gigs across the summer, including Solidays, Les Francofolies and Les Vielles Charrues.
