Marble Arch: Antiscript

A great clip for the track Antiscript by Marble Arch.

The track prompts reminiscences of the Jesus and Marychain and Ride. But I reckon its more that Marble Arch are - like the JAMC - paying a tribute to the daydream pop of the 60s than trying to recreate the sound of the 80s underground.

But either way, it's  a sound that is both powerful and affecting, with a video that captures the feel of nostalgia and distance perfectly.

Marble Arch is a solo project of the guitarist with the Rennes band Maria False, who describe themselves as Rock / Shoegaze / Psychédelique band.

Marble Arch released their debut album The Bloom of False in May this year, and the track Antiscript features among the 11 tracks on it.
