M Pokora: Voir la nuit s'emballer

A new single from M Pokora, one of France's biggest pop stars of the moment, with another track from his RED album

R.E.D., released in February gave him his third number one album in France.

It's his sixth studio album in a career that saw him initially come to prominence in the 2003 series of the  Popstars reality TV show.

Since then, as well as his solo career, he's appeard on Danse avec les stars - winning the first season - and appearing in the stage musical Robin des Bois.

Voir la nuit s'emballer is the fourth single from R.E.D., the new video giving a flavour of his live show.

Pokora is currently on tour in arenas across France, and plays at the Bercy palais Omnisport on December 11 and 12.

M Pokora: Mieux que nous

A new clip for the track Mieux que nous by M Pokora, the French pop star whose success continues more than a decade after he appeared in the TV show Popstars.

He was initially part of the boyband Linkup, whose single Mon Étoile went to number one, but whatever success they enjoyed has long been eclipsed by his solo career.

Since his 2004 debut album M. Pokora was released  he has had several major hit releases, his second album Player reaching number one, as did his 2013 live album À la poursuite du bonheur Tour - Live à Bercy.

In February Pokora relased R.E.D., his sixth album, which also topped the French charts.

The new track sees him work with rapper Soprano.

He plays at the Zénith in Paris in June.

M Pokora: Live à Bercy

Been a while since i've looked at the French charts, so perhaps worth a mention of former boy band star M Pokora knocking Indochine off the number one position with his Live à Bercy album

The singer, known to his family as Matthieu Tota, was last at number one in the album charts in 2006,with his second album Player,  his last album A la Poursuite du Bonheur missing the top spot when it was released this time last year.

The live collection is a memento of the tour Pokora undertook following the release of the album. A la Poursuite du Bonheur has sold over 300,000 copies in France, his most successful album of his career, on the back of three successful singles Juste un Instant, On est là and Merci d'etre.

Since then, he's been even more high profile with his involvement in the Generation Goldman various artists collection which featured his duet with Tal Envole-moi. This recording went on to become a top five hit.

The Generation Goldman album, which was the number one seller before Indochine, is France's number two album this week.

Pokora first came to public attention as part of the Popstars reality show boyband band Linkup, whose 2003 Notre étoile album and single Mon étoile both reached number one in their respective charts France.

His solo career began the following year when the band split, his self-titled debut released in 2004 going platinum, the follow up in 2006, Player, hitting number one.

Chart: M. Pokora - À nos Actes Manqués

A huge pop tune today, with France's number one À nos Actes Manqués by M. Pokora.

The singer, who also goes by the name Matthieu Tota, featured in Popstars in 2003, and was briefly in the band Linkup that was formed as a result.

When they split following an unsuccessful follow-up to their number one debut Mon Etoile, he began a solo career and has so far released four albums.

His second solo album, Player, which featured a duet with Ricky Martin, topped the French album charts in 2006

His third, 2008's MP3, saw a move towards English lyrics, and collaboration with Timbaland on the track Dangerous which went to number one in France.

Mise à Jour, album number four, came out last year, and a special version of the album came out in April including À nos Actes Manqués.
