Lenparrot: Amedeo's Wife

An atmospheric  video for the track Amedeo's Wife by Lenparrot.

Lenparrot is of course Romain Lallement, who is also the singer with Nantes band Rhum for Pauline, featured on the blog recently with the release of their new clip after their album came out in September.

But Lenparrot is a very different proposition musically, more reflective and seemingly more fragile.

The new track comes from Lenparrot's second EP, entitled Naufrage, which is due out in early 2016.

Lenparrot plays at this year's Transmusicales de Rennes in December, having played there as a
member of Rhum for Pauline in 2011, and with Pégase in 2012.

Julien Gasc, Lenparrot and Lèse Majesté: Shuffle Festival

A chance to see a couple of interesting French acts in London this evening, with Julien Gasc,  Lenparrot and Lèse Majesté taking to the stage as part of the Shuffle Festival.

The three acts play at the The Migration Pavillion, Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park.

Julien Gasc and  Lenparrot are no strangers to this blog, Lèse Majesté certainly deserve a mention, while if not French by nationality, they certainly are by name.

They're also pretty good as well, which always helps.

So three interesting bands in an unusual venue. If you are in the area, well worth getting along to this if you can.

New Acts: Lenparrot - Gena

The video was directed by  Johanna Sephora Benaïnous and Elsa Parra

The track comes from the band's debut EP, entitled Aquoibonism, which was released earlier this month.

Two tracks preceded the five-track EP as singles, Les yeux en cavale and A Fake Prophet.
