Les Rencontres Trans Musicales: Fat Supper

There's little doubt that a band with a name like Fat Supper would get the attention of this Scottish writer.

It sounds like it should be a special delicacy at a local Scottish chip shop, but the reality is that this French four piece that they sound like a particlarly inventive and agile indie act.

They released an eight trackself-titled debut album in January 2013 on French indie label les disques normal.

Their four track EP Flat Slupper, which includes the track Surrogate, was released earlier this month.

Both their releases can be heard on their Bandcamp site

They play on Thursday afternoon at Les Rencontres Trans Musicales, with labelmates Bumpkin Island, The Missing Season and Lady Jane also playing over the weekend.
